The Founder

Dr. med. Martin
Marianowicz

Specialist in Orthopaedics, Chirotherapy & Sports Medicine
Medical Director · Founder re:NOW

One of the most renowned pain and spine specialists in Germany. For over five decades, he has treated people whom others could no longer help with one clear principle: as much as necessary, as gentle as possible. Conservative before operational. The man before the finding.

From this attitude, the Pain therapy by Marianowicz is an interdisciplinary approach that combines conservative orthopaedics with modern diagnostics, manual medicine and holistic treatment. As a clinic founder, author and investor, he has shaped this idea over decades into a system that has helped thousands.

re:NOW in Kloster Beuerberg is the sum of this life’s work – the refuge that long hovered in his mind. Where orthodox medicine, monastic tradition and time come together without one displacing the other.

doctor, founder, visionary and entrepreneur — and most importantly husband, father, grandfather and friend. A person who knows what health is for in the end.

I have learned in fifty years: not one procedure makes people healthy. But what comes together.

What helps is right. Conventional medicine, osteopathy, TCM, monastic medicine — what works belongs to used. No matter what direction it comes from."

Equilibrium
Philosophy
900
years of healing – in the same place

Philosophy

re:NOW by Marianowicz It is a place where man comes back into balance. No giving up. Rather, it is a modest approach. Think about what is really important.

In the Kloster Beuerberg, where care was taken, healed and lived in peace since 1121. We continue this line — with the medicine of today, the atmosphere of yesterday, and a simple idea: Health like Balance.

equilibrium — the idea behind the sign +

The word comes from Latin aequus (equal to); and Libra (balance). It means what the scale holds—that which does not fall.

Our trademark is more than a symbol. It is the architecture of man as we understand it: built from levels, connected, resting on a baseline. When one level is out of the plumb, the whole is faltering. If we all get back into balance, man can again wear what he has to wear.

We work at all levels simultaneously. Not in a fixed order – but where man needs a stop.

and longevity? For us no race against time. But the certainty that the years that come are yours: painless, clear in mind, independent. Until the end.

Not measurably younger. But unbroken you yourself.

The Four Pillars
What carries us

A refuge —
No Programme.

No hotel. No rehab. No wellness address with medical paint. We are a specialist house with clearly defined size, clearly defined depth and a clear attitude.

15
guests, maximum.

Maximum of fifteen guests. Often less. Small enough for everyone to be seen. Big enough that no one is alone.

12
days time.

In a world full of speed, time is the greatest luxury. It is given to us – protected, guided, undisturbed.

900
years of healing.

A place where centuries-old monastic tradition meets modern medicine. Not a newly built address — but a grown place.

3:1
Medically accompanied.

Three doctors come for each guest. Daily visits, one-on-one meetings, each finding discussed in person.

∅
Labels.

Here you can be easy. No business card, no explanation, no drawer. Discretion as a Building Principle.

What to Take With You

They still work.
This is not the same as:
You are fine.

The question that comes at night is rare: Have I achieved enough? Most often it is: How long can I hold out?

We measure, down to the last detail, how it really stands around you — and give you what you haven’t had for years: certainty. No vague reassurance. Clear answers, from doctors you trust. And a plan of how much future is in you — and how to secure it.

Four pillars

in detail

If you want to look deeper.

Pillar 1 — Diagnostics in detail+

At the beginning of your stay, we take the time that a practice does not have. This results in a precise therapy plan – and an objective starting point from which everything else can be measured.

  • In-depth medical consultation with medical history and life situation
  • Physical examination with basic internistic checkup and orientating cardiology
  • Ultrasound of internal organs and lung function
  • Großes Blutbild, Leber-/Nierenwerte, Schilddrüse, Hormone (Cortisol, Testosteron, Östrogen, DHEA, IGF-1)
  • Microbiome analysis and micronutrient profile
  • Sleep diagnostics with polysomnography
  • Daily measurement of vital signs throughout the stay
  • Bioimpedance and respiratory metabolism analysis

Optionally chargeable: liquid analysis, genetic diagnostics, gastroscopy, neurological check, liver check, full physical check, MRI and CT — if the indication suggests it.

Pillar 2 — Therapy Active and Passive+

We adapt to your pace. Sporty mountain tour with the road bike. Walk on the Loisach. Silence in the monastery garden. What you need today, you determine – and we. With us everything can, but nothing must.

  • Active: Yoga, Pilates, Tai-Chi, Breathwork and Mindfulness
  • Strengthening therapy, functional training and targeted muscle building
  • swimming and aqua therapy in water
  • Boxing Training as an Endurance and Stress Reduction Method
  • In the mountains: guided tours on Benediktenwand, Brauneck, Herzogstand
  • Cycling and mountain biking tours through the Pre-Alpine Country
  • Passive: osteopathy, traditional Chinese medicine with acupuncture
  • Manual therapy, trigger point treatment, classic massages
  • Accompanied by David Weichel (Sports Director) and Johannes Langemann (Acupuncture and TCM)
Pillar 3 — Regulation by targeted stimuli+

What runs in the system can be regulated from the inside and from the outside. We use both — biochemical interventions and physical stimuli. In the right dosage, at the right time.

  • Pain Therapy According to Marianowicz Philosophy – The Holistic Look at Pain, Movement and Stress
  • Personalised infusion therapies — vital cocktails, NAD+, glutathione, micronutrient build-up
  • Mitochondrial therapy and acid-base regulation
  • detoxification and targeted detoxification — scientifically accompanied
  • Ice Water Applications and Classic Kneippkur — as a Stimulus and Regulation
  • cold chamber applications for activation of the autonomic nervous system
  • sauna and heat treatments for regeneration and inflammatory regulation
  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy for cell and tissue recovery
  • Light therapy to stabilize circadian rhythm
Pillar 4 — Reflection, Coaching, Silence+

What triggers the body and therapy must be reflected in order for it to remain. This pillar is the quietest — and often the most important.

  • Intensive individual coaching with experienced companions
  • Individual Psychotherapeutic Assistance
  • Meditation and Mindfulness Practice
  • Breathing and relaxation therapy
  • Guided Conversations in the Small Community
  • Rooms of Silence — Cloister, Marienkirche, Klostergarten

Head of Longevity Medicine

Dr. med. Barbara
Horse nails

Longevity medicine · Nutrition · Micronutrient therapy

Internationally renowned expert in preventive longevity medicine. Four-time specialist in general, preventive, nutritional, occupational medicine.

Your view extends deeper than conventional medicine often leads it: into the mitochondrion, into the microbiome, into the fine regulations of the body. This is where health arises – or not. With micronutrient therapy, metabolic regulation and a scientifically based nutritional medicine, it makes visible what is otherwise hidden.

What patients appreciate about her is not just knowledge — but listening. Who comes to it is not a finding, not a risk profile, not a diagnosis. But a person in a life situation. She sees the person behind the medical record. This proximity – technically precise and at the same time human warm – is her signature.

At re:NOW she is responsible for longevity medicine. The connection between Hildegard’s medicine and modern cell biology inspires her. The Kloster Beuerberg is not only a place of work for them, but a personal conviction: that Health that carries, arises only where science, silence and lived measure come together.

True longevity is not a question of years. The question is how many of those years are really good. That is where we start.

reflection. Newly seen.

When does enjoyment become a habit?

Sometimes something slips away without being able to name the moment. A habit that takes up more space than it should. A model that has become independent.

re:flexion is a protected framework in which you can reconsider your use of pleasure products and habits. Not as a waiver. Not with a label. But rather than what it is — a conscious determination of location.

Movement

movement,

We do not start with training. We start with the measurement. Performance diagnostics, cardiovascular analysis, exercise findings - this results in what suits you. No more. No less.

For those who demand it
If performance is your element.

They are sporty, ambitious, perhaps at home in competition. We measure your load capacity precisely – and challenge you where it makes sense: challenging mountain tours, road bike through the pre-Alpine region, strength and boxing training. With the difference that someone thinks when enough is enough.

For those who find back
When the way back counts.

Maybe for a long time was not time. Maybe the knee, the back, the circulation. We start carefully and safely — Nordic walking, swimming, weight training with moderation. The first painless walk on the Loisach is as much progress as a summit.

EMS training

Electromuscular Stimulation provides additional training stimuli for short, individually supervised units. It can complement strength training and can be dosed with low load; intensity and suitability are classified personally and medically in advance.

For whom

Various Lives.
The same silent question.

There is no one guest. There's a moment when the equilibrium tilts — and it looks different to everybody.

The Hightender

They still work. But you feel that it is tipping.

Sleep no longer carries. The energy does not come back on the weekend. They continue to deliver – and displace the question of how long the body still participates. Who acts early, retains all possibilities.

Partner · Partners

You carry with you. And come too short.

Sometimes it is not the one who stands in front, who is exhausted – but the one who keeps his back free. Those who support for years forget themselves. There is room for that too. For you, not just for him.

The Transition

They sold everything. And suddenly the task is missing.

After the sale, after the handover, with mid-seventy: suddenly there is time – and with it questions that had no place before. Health, sense, the years to come. A good time to take stock. Quietly.

The Habit

Enjoyment became routine. And you know it.

The glass in the evening to come down. The tablet to sleep. Coping strategies that get out of hand. Here you can look at it quietly — without a label, without an external diagnosis, without anyone knowing.

Own drive

You just want something by itself do.

Maybe nothing tips. Maybe you're fine — and that's why you're here. Because the wisest do not wait until something hurts, but act as long as everything bears. Those who invest in themselves before it becomes necessary win the most. This is not an emergency. That is sovereignty.

The Monastery

Tradition
meets Modern.

Kloster Beuerberg was founded in 1121 as Augustiner-Chorherren-Stift. In 1835, the Salesians moved in. For almost two centuries, the monastery was a place of care, care, practical health care – with medicinal herbs from its own garden, its own beer brewery and its own bakery. Self-sufficiency as a life principle.

This dual structure — community and retreat, healing and silence — shapes the place to this day. We do not see ourselves as a new use, but as a continuation of this grown order. Under the conditions of today.

Three sources.
A kitchen.

Our diet is based on three pillars – each with roots in the monastic tradition, each with substance in today’s vital medicine.

They have learned to be strong on the outside. That’s an art — but it doesn’t say anything about how you really feel.
When did you last learn about yourself?

What You Might Be Questions.

Select a question on the left —
the answer appears here.
“What to do with chronic sleep problems?”

Most people sleep poorly without knowing why. High-performance personalities especially — the day doesn’t end when the light goes out.

A complete Polysomnography shows what really happens at night. Sleep architecture, breathing, heart rhythm, nocturnal hormone profiles, circadian rhythms.

What becomes visible can be addressed.

“How do I know my equilibrium is tipping?”

It does not come suddenly. It announces itself — over months, sometimes years. Sleep that no longer carries. A distance from your own work that no one sees yet. Irritability. Exhaustion that no longer solves the weekend.

High performance and adrenaline are two sides of the same coin. Until the adrenaline stops.

We are not talking about burnout. We are talking about the loss of equilibrium — and that’s where our work starts.

You have all the possibilities.

“What is longevity medicine?”

The question is not: How old are you?

but: How many of those years will be good?

longevity medicine looks for the difference between biological and chronological age — at cell, hormone and metabolic levels. At re:NOW under the direction of Dr. med. Barbara Hufnagel, an internationally renowned expert in this field.

“How do I discreetly check my habits?”

Sometimes a pleasure becomes a habit. From a habit a need.

Anyone who notices this is already an important step ahead. At re:NOW this can be viewed in peace – accompanied by a specialist, without a label, without anyone knowing about it.

What is happening here belongs only to you.

I am exhausted. How do I become more efficient again?

exhaustion rarely has a single cause. Sleep, mitochondria, micronutrients, stress, hormones — usually several things interlock.

One complete diagnostics makes visible what is running in the background. Therapy, coaching and medical assistance — at all levels, intensive, high-frequency.

No more pressure. but substance.

“What to do when everything becomes too much?”

Anyone who feels that everything is becoming too much has already taken the most difficult step – honest perception.

We measure where the system really stands — heart rate variability, cortisol profile, vegetative diagnostics. Then we will work together on this.

Twelve days when no one wants anything from you.

“How is chronic pain treated?”

Chronic pain is rarely just a physical phenomenon. It arises in the interaction of body, psyche, metabolism and movement patterns.

The Pain therapy by Marianowicz combines conservative orthopaedics, manual therapy, osteopathy and acupuncture with modern diagnostics and constructive movement therapy. Over fifty years of practice – where others no longer see a way.

“What helps in midlife hormonal?”

Midlife shifts hormone balance — in both women and men. Sleep becomes easier, the weight changes, the energy fluctuates. Much of it is addressable if you look closely.

created by re:NOW Dr. med. Barbara Hufnagel a complete hormone profile - not only the standard values, but the fine regulations.

Midlife is not a loss. But a transition that wants to be made.

“How discreet is a stay?”

Discretion is not a marketing term for us, but a construction principle. Aliases are possible. Data protection according to GDPR and §203 StGB. Extended confidentiality staff.

No guest names. No testimonials. No before and after pictures.

Who is with us, is with us – and no one else.

“How does weaning work discreetly?”

Anyone who asks themselves this question has already taken the hardest step.

At re:NOW there is a protected frame, in which this can be viewed and re-sorted at rest. Specialist accompanied. Without a label, without a program name, without anyone knowing about it.

We do not call it weaning. We call it re:FLEXION — a deliberate location determination.

Family and friends mean I need a stay.

When people you love say that — listen. No one who knows you would say such a thing lightly.

At the end you decide. Whenever you are ready.

A personal consultation clarifies whether a stay with us is the right thing. If so, in what form.

Confidential, free of charge, without obligation.

“Do I even need a stay?”

Who asks himself this, is usually already further than he thinks.
