Back pain without surgery — Marianowicz method

The back knows every appointment.

In the morning after getting up, in the fifth meeting of the day, on the third day of flight in a row. You know the places where it pulls — and you suspect that it won’t get better by itself. At some point you should let yourself see what is really going on there.

What we do for you.

We take our time. We thoroughly examine — imaging, manual, movement — and see what has added up in tension, posture and strain over the years. This results in a clear, understandable assessment: What is structurally behind it, what are the consequences of stress and sitting, what options are available.

In our stay, we treat with the Marianowicz method: targeted manual and physical therapy, individually dosed movement, modern pain therapy and minimally invasive procedures wherever they fit. If an intervention is the right way, we mediate to a specialist from Dr's network. Marianowicz — with preparation with us and aftercare afterwards.

This is not a test. If you find yourself in several sentences, it is worth the quiet specialist look – before the back determines the pace of your life.

Typical Questions and Observations

These indications are not self-diagnosis. They help to arrange the personal concern for a specialist discussion.

  • You have a moment when you get up in the morning before your back joins in.
  • After long-haul flights, you will need two days until you are back with you.
  • Pain medications have been lying in your desk for years - "in case".
  • They have collected three different findings and are more uncertain than before.
  • An operation is in the room — and you want someone who sees the whole picture.
  • You want to know what’s really going on — from someone who has time and experience.

Why people who wear a lot?

Anyone who is used to getting several opinions before making decisions rarely applies this to their own back. It goes fast because it has to go fast. The result: three different findings, three different paths, and in the end the calm picture is missing.

is exactly what we have. A thorough, specialist assessment that summarizes everything — what you bring from everyday work, what imaging shows, what movement and tension contribute. This results in a recommendation with which you can calmly decide what follows next.

Frequent Questions

Good to
know.

Does a herniated disc need surgery?

In most cases not. Over 80 percent of all back pain is nonspecific — they show no change to the skeleton that would warrant surgery. Even with many herniated discs, the symptoms with conservative therapy resolve within weeks. An operation should be the exception, not the first step.

What does “conservative before operational” mean?

It means: first exhaust all gentle paths before reaching for the scalpel. Dr. Marianowicz has made this principle a method for decades – as much as necessary, as gentle as possible. Only when conservative and minimally invasive procedures are exhausted, an operation at all comes into consideration.

Why does pain keep coming back even though nothing is found?

Because the back is more than its structure. With non-specific pain, tension, stress, lack of movement and the psyche play together – a pure search for the mechanical defect often leads to emptiness. That's why we look at the whole person, not just the picture on the MRI.

Does anyone know I was there?

No. Discretion is the foundation. No guest lists, no external diagnosis, no more than fifteen guests at a time. Whoever is here is invisible.
